Coco (Nicole Daignault) shares physically safe foundations of Yoga postures and movements. Her demonstrations offer gentle, moderate, strong, and often chair-supported versions of asanas and movements. Weaving breathwork, meditations, asana practice integrated from sequences and inspiration developed over her 25 years of practice, Coco’s classes bring awareness to the ancient wisdom and practice of Yoga.
Yoga Teacher Training from Varanasi, India, in 1999.
It is suggested to come to class with little-to-no food in the stomach, yoga mat, blanket, pillow, kleenex.

Like her teacher in India, Coco keeps her students on their toes, never knowing what to expect!
The following descriptions offer a general tone to the sessions offered this semester:

“Morning Salutations”
Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 9:30am-10:30am
The intention of these sessions is to build fire (agni) and to cleanse (kriya).   Rise and shine!  Start the day with breath work, increase your energy, gain awareness and bring movement to the spine and joints.  Gentle, moderate, and strong variations are taught.

Mondays at 12pm
The tone of this class is a balance of relaxation as well as movements that perk the body up, preparing it to sustain energy and concentration during the second half of the day, maintaining steadiness of breath and mind.

“Evening Yoga”
Mondays and Wednesdays at 7pm-8pm
The tone of these classes is to move and stretch with the aim to calm the body down at the end of the day, in preparation for rest and repair. Gentle, moderate, and challenging variations are shared.  Pillows and blankets are a nice addition to your evening practice.

This class resumes Sept 8, 2021

The classes for the Italian-Canadian HandiCapable Association (ICHA) are now being offered ONLINE to members through ZOOM!

Seated and standing variations will be demonstrated and taught. We will practice breathing exercises, safe movements to strengthen and stretch the body, concentration, memory, sounds, drum beats, all used to generate energy and release blockages throughout the body.

"Yogena yogojnatavya yogo yogatpravartate yo pramattastu yogena sa yoga ramate ciram"

Yoga is to be known by yoga. Yoga is the teacher of yoga. The power of yoga manifests through yoga alone. He who does not become careless, negligent or inattentive, he alone rests in yoga and enjoys yoga.
